sike i found these on the internethey, I am from Missouri. I even say it Mizzura. that is how it's supposed to be. The word originated from a translation of the missouri indian tribes name into French, the French called it Missour-a. I work on a farm that my family has owned since 1836. The farm even had slaves until the civil war, when we ran to Oregon to avoid the union troops. After the war we came back to Missouri. We may be Southern backwoods rednecks, but I got a 32 on the ACT and my dad has a PhD in analytical chemistry, and we voted for Kerry in the last election, and Gore before that.
