Yeah. Anywho, Kafei's going to apologise for causing trouble with the administrationship here. If I could have done it over, I would have just ignored the person insulting me and carried on normally instead of egging them on. Whatever.
The point is, henceforth, I'm going to be a better person. I will try not to respond to insults driven towards me any longer; I will just adress any logical point made towards me. As for those who insult me, I would request that you stop and I would also say that I have forgiven you for your offences against me as I would hope you would forgive mine against you. However, becoming a better person does not mean I'll stop with the game making. I like my style; it's fun. I make that type of stuff in my spare time. But, because I know some of you guys don't like what I do and will hate me for making that stuff I do, take a look:This is a screenshot of my current large project's engine, "Ryous Rex". It's a real time RPG that I'm working on with my clan(Epic Productions) at GMClans. Right now, it doesn't look too good and has overused sprites because my spriters have had bad luck and one lost a whole bunch of tiles they made while the other's graphics card has been broken for the past couple of weeks. That gray thing in the middle is a quarter done pause menu, BTW. When they start having better luck, though, the sprites will look something like:Anywho, the battles will take place on an isometric field with one side for the enemy and one for the opponent. Action will be realtime and the player will be able to assign strategies to their units, command them to use skills in battle, and detemine the amount of TP the AI will use. Overall, it's going to be great. I'm about half-way done with the battle system, so, I'll probably post a demo somewhere sometime in a couple of months. Just not now.If all goes as planned for this project, it will kick Ark 22 in the nards. That's only if I can beat my clan into working, though. :P They really need to speak up more, though. *Edit*I need to put in that thing where it checks if the character has enough TP to cast, again. It used to prevent the player from going into the negatives, but, I removed it while I was testing somethings.
SY and MP I actually agree with ChIkEn and amerup. Though I don't like the crappy games, his seemingly 24/7 positive attitude kinda grew on me… even though it was annoying sometimes.
Also, the game seems like it could turn out good. Don't know if it will come as far as kicking Ark 22's nads, but with some work it might be pretty cool.
It will, trust me. I've been working on the plot for six months already and it's still not done. D:
It's just piecing it together that will be hard, but trust me, we'll do our best to surpass Ark 22. It'll be hard, but, possible. :P No offense to Ark 22, that's a good game.
