“Poemsâ€? make no sense to me,

They make no sense at all.

All poems should rhyme,

Have rhythm; be in time,

Not drivel on in some metaphorical way.

I don’t see poems the way others do,

I just see them - thin and bare.

What is on top, is the only thing, about which I really care.

I find it hard to see the deeper meaning,

And I hate writing note after note.

I prefer poems that rhyme,

And keep in time,

Just like this poem I wrote.
