That's right, the game I was referring to as "Dominos 3", now called "Domino's Adventure", has finally been accepted to the appstore!
I am really pleased it got in, because there was a lot of faffle when Apple changed their ToS on the 22nd April as to whether Unity games would still be allowed. I had submitted Domino's late on the 21st April, to get it in before the new ToS, just to give me the best chance possible at getting it accepted. On the 27th April, Domino's status switched from "Waiting for review", to "In review". Apple then spent all of my birthday, 28th April, reviewing the game, apparently. This morning, 29th April, I woke up to find that my game is on the appstore, and already turns up good reviews if you search for "Domino's Adventure" on google!Click here to view Domino's Adventure on iTunes!I am really happy, it only has one review so far, but it is quite a lengthy one, and gave me 5/5 stars.Domino's Adventure is currently $0.99, however if for whatever reason you don't want to pay for it, I could probably generate some of those free code things later. If my blog comes across as an advert for my game, that's probably because it is. And this is a games site after all, right? maybe?I started work on Dominos 3 on the 3rd January this year, so it has been almost 4 months. Now I can use my spare time to play games instead of making them, hooray! Finally, thanks to the other people who helped test the game while in development, and thanks to SirXemic for making the music for me.
Oh that's such a good solution for the name.
So what should you type in to that little thing on the option menu? =P
The only word I got a response from was "marbs" which just told me to go to your website.By looking at the kinda stuff that's in the app charts your heading straight for world #1
Congratulations, marbs. I'm proud of you. You can now make some hard-earned money.
Also, thanks for keeping "Dominoes" in the name.Hey, thanks for the comments!
Here are some promotional codes to get a free copy:MALTJ9MT37PF3TLJMMK66ERAATWLY9634MWJApparently they only work on the US appstore, but I am sure there are a few US people here on 64D :)Awesome stuff marbs, sadly I do not have an iTouch or iPhone.
Yay for you marbs. All thats left is for you to release a demo web version for Gamejolt and your good to go.
BTW: Happy Birthday(I know its late).Congrats! Although I'm still pretty sure the ToS is aimed indirectly at Adobe.
I wish I still used my itouch… maybe I'll charge it just to play this. Also yay I live in the us :D
