Alright, thanks to Rez' Halloween competition I have finally mustered the strength to make a new game. If you haven't guessed by the title of this blog, the game is going to be a Squares game based partially on the Nightmare before Christmas. Naturally the game would be starring our hero, Kyle Skellington(complete with pimped out suit).
Our hero ladies and gentlemen. He's dead.For the better part of this weekend, I have been using my time wisely by animating the main character and some of the squares(who will be assist items) using flash. I must say, flash has sure made sprite animation very convenient for me. All I have to do is scale the characters down to the desired size(but not to low, so as not to loose the details) and I have them the way I want them. Kyle's standing and running animation(more to come)Rex as the devil. This is all he does.KK werewolf, Loved making this one.Corpse Lana.(She is wearing a Victorian dress, no complaining)Unfortunately given the rate this project is going (no thanks to classes and test no less), I may not be able to finish it before the Halloween deadline. However expect this game (:3) "before Christmas" (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
30% of Monty Python skits are absolute genius, the other 70% are… pretty much rubbish
Whoah, I didn't mention that those animations rule? Those animations rule. Love the werewolf. The paw looks too much like a hand with one finger raised, but aside from that, awesome.
Not only does everyone look better, but these animations are pretty well done. Why does she have a questionable look on her face while she kicks?
BOOT TO THE HEAD.
But is it like A BLAST OF HYDRATION TO YOUR FACE?
@Ferret
Sorry, can't see it.I don't like how the pitchfork slides in the guy's hand as he raises it. It looks odd.
