…well, mostly new. I bought a new CPU, motherboard, RAM, network card and optical drive. The last three high priority parts I need to replace for it to be 100% new computer are: graphics card, power supply and sound card.
Anyways, I made the switch from AMD to Intel and I'm damn happy about it, even if it was harder on my wallet. Specs:[new] Intel i7 3770K @ 3.5Ghz[new] 2*8GB Corsair Vengeance Blue[new] ASUS Sabertooth Z77[new] Intel PRO/1000 CT (network adapter)[new] Zalman Z9 Plus (case)[old] OCZ Vertex 2 60GB (SSD)[old] 2*500GB (Hitachi Deskstar, Seagate Barracuda)[old] Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme[old] ATI Radeon HD 4600[old] Cooler Master 500WThe Sabertooth motherboard is fucking awesome. Three big reasons I picked it: it's just damn nice overall, it supports 32GB RAM and has 8 (internal) SATA ports.Other stuff:Samsung SyncMaster 2343BWX 23" @ 2048*1152Sennheiser HD558250Mb down/15Mb upParts I intend to get:ASUS Xonar Essence STXGigabyte GeForce GTX 6702*8GB Corsair Vengeance BlueCorsair Enthusiast Series TX850M 850W2*3TB Toshiba HDKPC08 or Western Digital Red128GB Crucial M4Cooler Master HAF X EATXCorsair Cooling Hydro Series H60After 6 years, I finally built a new computer

Looks similar to my friend's AMD build, definitely not bad for that price.
http://puu.sh/289AcPaper Mario in 1080p…*creams pants*Dang, I'm jealous. I get 20FPS if I'm lucky on GC games. Though I at least get a full framerate on PS2 games. So I guess that's a plus.
Paper Mario runs at a perfect 60 fps, it's incredibly smooth. Same with SSBM.
So far the only game I've tried so far that struggles is F-Zero GX if I'm playing against computers.Melee, you're alive!
New specs look really good. Don't see the merit in keeping the old hard drives if your OS doesn't like the new hardware changes. But I guess you've got that taken care of.Just noticed your Paper Mario comment; my laptop can run Paper Mario well. Show us Super Mario Sunshine.I can't afford new drives just yet. My last paycheck sucked because I was sick for a week.
http://puu.sh/28ryUhttp://puu.sh/28roVUnfortunately there are some graphical glitches when you force Sunshine widescreen.Hawt.
Framerate looks good on that, I assume?Yep, though Sunshine is a 30 FPS game. Games like SSBM, F-Zero GX and Paper Mario all run at 60 FPS and it's so nice.

Gamecube graphics set to 1080p with increased internal res. Can't do that on Gamecube =D
Well shiiit
