I just wanted to say "thank you" to every one for all of the support and kind words you had for the Dungeonmen soundtrack. You all have really made me feel welcome and I truly appreciate the feedback.
That being said, I wanted to post a preview of a soundtrack I am working on for a soon-to-be-released (hopefully) game titled "Cool Guy Bob Surlaw." It's an RPG about a fish-monster who decides to get a nose job. I think this soundtrack contains some of my best work and I can't wait for it to be released. This is the track for the Ninja Fort stage. A disgruntled group of ninjas took over the local YMCA and converted it into an Evil Ninja Lair. This is the music they do their evil ninja training to. Hope you all enjoy.Ninja Fort
haha, I love it. This is probably one of my very favorite tracks i've heard by a user on this site so far.
nice jobThanks, man! Glad you dig.
Man that was pretty neat. If you're ever project starved I've been working on a game that I blog about on http://adam-dev-blog.blogspot.com and the musician that was supposed to help me has gonna gone AWOL. I'll be working on that game for a good while (It's not something that I plan to be done any time soon), so the offer/request will stand for a while.
You said at some point that you'd be willing to do other genres, correct? I'd like to hear some non-chiptune examples, whenever you have some.
Kilin: You consider all his work chiptunes ?
No, seeing as this piece isn't exactly a chiptune. Consider it poor word choice.
I love it. Makes me want to go play my drums. No one else's music on here ever has enough drum kit. </3
On a side, if you ever wanted your music to have a sloppy, off-beat, talentless, and uneven drum track, I have an electric kit that I never practice on, that I can record off of.Kilin: This is a link to some of the hip hop stuff I do. (I think that's what you mean.) Just click on the BandPage thingy.
GIANT ROBOTSIt's really kind of weird stuff. Probably not what you'd expect.ludamad: Hell yes! We'll keep in touch after we finish this S4D shit. (I'm just about to send Rez the first track.)firestormx: Yeah man. I can make even the sloppiest samples sound nice. (That's what I do with MY samples.) Send me some stuff and I'll play around with it.Thanks for the kind words all. You guys are really motivating me.Oh, sorry, I should have added "stuff that you've written" to the list consisting of sloppy, off-beat, talentless, and uneven drum track.
I don't have the creative juices to come up with a beat that I don't read off a sheet.I've been playing for 4 years, but I'm quite bad. You're easily the most talented video game musician I've heard in awhile, and you're actually playing real instruments, so you have a nice niche too.
