Carny Death Peddlers B-Side

Concourse

This is the first track we made for Rez and luda's S4D entry, Carny Death Peddlers. Our original thought was to make a Thriller-esqu soundtrack, full of disco beats and synth brass. As the game developed, though, the soundtrack started morphing into something heavier and this song no longer really fit in with the rest of soundtrack. So we had to cut it.

I do, however, still think this is a pretty bad-ass tune that deserves to be heard. So this is me, presenting it to you. If anyone wants to use it, feel free to do so. Just call dibs on it. BUT if anyone loves it so much that they want us to make an entire soundtrack for them in this style… even better. That would trump dibs on this here playground.

And as always, any feedback is appreciated. Thanks for listening.

Reminds me of some GBA era music, and heavily suggests to me the Casino Night and Hidden Base zones from the Sonic Advance series, in a good way.

The… tremolo feels a bit strong though (On that first instrument. Can't quite put a name to it. Sounds stringy, but also synthed. Heavily).

Not your best work, but it's pretty nice.
