China and Perfection

Well, for the past two weeks I've been in the part of the world where even colonial sanders has squinty eyeballs, video games are seriously less than one dollar each (at least ps2 ones), and everyone has an odd obsession with American knockoffs, such as this-

The damn goverment also has to constantly check what you download, so a 1 m.b file takes about 5 and a half hours to download on broadband. Frickin censorship

Yeah, so pretty much I'm having fun, and I've gotten over the whole pollution dealio. It's not so bad really once you get used to it.

But if there's one thing I'll never understand here, it's the traffic, or rather, the lack of any. It's pretty much a free-for-all here, and anyone can go any way they want, and as long as nobody is killed, they don't get in trouble. I was almost hit by a car today driving on the sidewalk =P

Oh yeah, and monkeys stole my camera. Cheeky bastards >_>

As for perfection -

For those who don't know (which is quite a few of you), this is my new W.I.P. Here's the jist of it -

—————–

Type: Game

Genre : Puzzle

Fullscreen: Yes

Changes resolution? : No

Multiplayer : No

Levels : 26 and a Freeplay Mode

Controls: Left and right mouse click, and spacebar. (The exact controls and such are explained ingame)

Description - This is a simple yet complicated puzzle game. The objective is easy, to illuminate all of the squares of each level in order to win. However, it's not as simple as it first appears. Levels increase in difficulty as you go on, and later levels will contain hints to help you solve them. (Exact gameplay is described ingame during the tutorial levels)

—————–

I've changed it quite a bit. It's going to contain 4 modes, being basic (which is completed in the demo), Intermediate (Which has one level in the demo), Advanced, and Time attack mode.

I also added some new controls as you can see in the screenshot, being the three buttons (in case you don't want to use the keyboard), an undo feature (ctrl+z), and a cool effect that gives the squares kind of a 3D effect (Which can be toggled on and off with [T]. Default it's off though).
