DoC Demo is here!

Posted by omicron1 on May 16, 2007, 8:49 p.m.

The Dawn of Civilization demo has been released to the public at this location; a 64Digits release is forthcoming, as soon as the file manager starts responding right.

System requirements (reposted for clarity):

* Recommended at least an NVidia GeForce 6600 or equivalent (128mb graphical memory)

* At least 512mb system memory

* At least 50mb free hard drive space for installation

* Windows Vista or XP

* Monitor capable of at least 1024x768 resolution

If you were one of the beta testers, please redownload the game. A lot has changed in the last week! Bugs have been fixed, interface features added, and even some particle effects! (Such as dust and mild blood effects)

There's a link to a "top-secret" image of one of my projects somewhere in this blog. See if you can find it!

Hehehe…I found it! Pretty nifty in fact…

And your game is a pretty big file, but it looks REALLY good…I actually feel like playing ST right now…GRRR!!! All these freakin' good games are coming out, and I'm just here making all this crap in comparison…I MUST MAKE A GODLY GAME!

Please, don't use Savefile, I can't stand the download speeds. I was getting ~86 KB/s, when I usually get 650.

->MK53: I'm trying to upload it to 64Digits meanwhile, but… it's been two hours so far and it hasn't done a thing.

I tried out the game. Really cool, but I had trouble with it. Even the tutorial wasn't descriptive enough. I really liked the graphics though. The music was pretty cool too. Loading times weren't that great, I think a loading screen should be included at least…

Overall, if that was the final…8/10…hehehe…cool work so far though.

Hmm… what would you like added to the tutorial?
