Well, here I am, writing the first entry of my blog… I'd like to say hi to the whole 64digits community. I'll do a short presentation of myself:

I'm a 20 year old, biomedical engineering student at IST (Lisboa, Portugal) and I have played around with Game Maker for some time now. My internet connection is a sh*t… and I enjoy playing guitar (see the connection?).

I'm now facing a rough time at college due to the fact that I simply don't do any work apart from going to classes and preparing any labs that I may have to do. I'm trying to find out why I'm so unmotivated and how can I motivate myself to do better.

I'm mainly a programmer when it comes to game making, and the area that I don't dare touch is graphics since I'm a complete disaster at that.

I totally knew where Portugal was :D.

I got bored.

Anyways, you seem like the kind of person who would work well with 64digits. Some keys I think about keeping yourself inspired is trying everything in a new way, like attempting to write all your work backwards.

For the hundredth time, America is not the center of the world. Like pedro said, GM was made in Holland, which is very close to Portugal.

Anyway, welcome to 64digits. You may find some of the people here to be incredibly ignorant, but hopefully you'll enjoy being here anyway. I've never actually been to Portugal, (my mom has, Lisbon), but I used to have a Portugese friend who was called Pedro as well =) What team do you support there?

Yeah, Pedro is a popular name here. I support FC Porto, despite being from Lisbon (whose teams are SL Benfica and Sporting)
