Well, here I am, writing the first entry of my blog… I'd like to say hi to the whole 64digits community. I'll do a short presentation of myself:
I'm a 20 year old, biomedical engineering student at IST (Lisboa, Portugal) and I have played around with Game Maker for some time now. My internet connection is a sh*t… and I enjoy playing guitar (see the connection?). I'm now facing a rough time at college due to the fact that I simply don't do any work apart from going to classes and preparing any labs that I may have to do. I'm trying to find out why I'm so unmotivated and how can I motivate myself to do better. I'm mainly a programmer when it comes to game making, and the area that I don't dare touch is graphics since I'm a complete disaster at that. Well, that's all folks, see ya…
Wow. Proof that Game Maker really does get across the globe.
Apathy and programming go hand in hand.
Welcome to 64Digits. I hope you have a good time.
I'm sure you'll fit right in… XDTry going towards any minors you have, or trying other classes.
Always have a back-up plan, I have a few."Wow. Proof that Game Maker really does get across the globe."
Wow. Proof that Portugal really is an unknown country… Lisbon is 1.160 Miles away from Utrecht, the place where Mark Overmars works. New York, for example is 3.674 Miles away from Utrecht.Come on, it's an European country, not a third world one =/ I'm quite surprised that I have this amount of comments so shortly after I blogged, quite a community =)Sorry about that Josea, It's just that the way he/she said "GM really does get across the globe" seemed like I was from a completely different part of the world, which is not true. But really, the miracle of the internet is that we all connect even though we're separated by hundreds or thousands of miles =)
Welcome To 64Digits!
Enjoy your stay, okay?Oh and josea, i'm an american and I don't think that our country is everything and the rest is crap. In fact, I don't think our country is that great anyways.
