Hey guys. I just wanted to throw this out there, and see who's interested in, or has time for a music composition competition. Of course, this one would (hopefully) be a lot more organized than the last one, and I'll actually have time to sit down and judge this one, because I don't need to do Wintermester, seeing as I passed all my classes.

Recording myself playing multiple parts of something, and overlapping them.
Are you asking how to do it?
Yeah, like if there are any programs specifically for doing so.
Yes, that's the whole idea of a DAW. Those aren't programs that are particularly easy to learn, though you've gotta learn some day. Reaper is a good place to start.
Hmm… Guess I'd better look into those soon. Thanks!
Music for Fossils
@juju: I love that track. That flutey-thing is perfect for conveying a sense of mystery. And when those jazzy brush drums do that "tap-tap-tap" fill? Come on! Great stuff. Excellent first shot.
Thanks monsieur.
i forget, what is music
I love this. It's very simple, but very nice! The marimba, and then the marimba with the bells just instantly make me think mystery. You've also got a pretty cool bass line going there. :)
