Hey guys. I just wanted to throw this out there, and see who's interested in, or has time for a music composition competition. Of course, this one would (hopefully) be a lot more organized than the last one, and I'll actually have time to sit down and judge this one, because I don't need to do Wintermester, seeing as I passed all my classes.

I don't really care what the theme is, but if I really have to vote I go for mystery or for tragedy.

I agree with Steve, one week is a bit too short. While it's true the pieces can't be too long, it'd be nice to have the time and be able to redo a piece if you don't like it that much without having to stress. Also, more time to procrastinate :D
tbh i suggest Novelty as the theme; we all evidently outlived the apocalypse, and mckenna's time wave zero hypothesis; it never hurts for a new outlook on life, and a jovial interpretation musically
I'm all for Novelty actually. It's something different than depressive blogs and it's much more enjoyable to listen to happy, cheerful music (for me at least) than funeral music for example.
Alright, the 22nd it is. Judging will be a little difficult for me, but I'll make it happen. :)
I'm also in for something that wont make me cry…can we elaborate on what novelty means?
