Yeah, oh my god, wtfzomgpancakes, RockyRan's doing a post. Let's get all funky and throw parties. Or let's not remember me and let's not.
I'm gonna get down to business and ask a question that I actually need answering. What's the top resolution of your monitor? I need this answered because the game I'm doing needs quite a bit of screen room to for it to work, but I just don't know what the standard max is so that those with the lowest don't get shafted and don't get to play the game. That or I can downscale the game for those with a lower than usual resolution and it'll look like crap, but I'll see what I'll do once I get a few responses regarding screen size.In another note, what have I been doing with myself? Well, anything but GM. To be quite honest, I'm picking GM up for no real reason for no real amount of time. I plan to make a puzzle game (the screen res thing is having to do with the game), but I really have no future plans or anything. As for Project F-60, I have no idea. I may finish it, I may not. Depending on what mood I am, I may decide that not finishing it will be a waste and I may go crazy and finish it in like a day. Or I may say "Screw that" and never touch it again. I really don't know.'Neways, you came for a survey, you got an update on my GM life. Gee, what a deal.

15" awesomeness has its price.1280x1024
-ElmerniteUsed to be 1024*768 with my old CRT
Now its 1440*900 with my new LCD1280x1024 on Linu[blk]x
1024x768 on Window[blk]sFor a game, I wouldn't recommend setting res above 1024x768. My monitory can only do 1280x1024 at low refresh rates.1024x768
1024*768
and1680*1050How about providing options for resolution, or reading current resolution from w-i-n-d-o-w-s information?
People been messing with words <.<My max is 1280x1024.
1280x1024, i use it and it's the max for both the monitor and my shitty Nvidia FX5200!
