Yeah, oh my god, wtfzomgpancakes, RockyRan's doing a post. Let's get all funky and throw parties. Or let's not remember me and let's not.
I'm gonna get down to business and ask a question that I actually need answering. What's the top resolution of your monitor? I need this answered because the game I'm doing needs quite a bit of screen room to for it to work, but I just don't know what the standard max is so that those with the lowest don't get shafted and don't get to play the game. That or I can downscale the game for those with a lower than usual resolution and it'll look like crap, but I'll see what I'll do once I get a few responses regarding screen size.In another note, what have I been doing with myself? Well, anything but GM. To be quite honest, I'm picking GM up for no real reason for no real amount of time. I plan to make a puzzle game (the screen res thing is having to do with the game), but I really have no future plans or anything. As for Project F-60, I have no idea. I may finish it, I may not. Depending on what mood I am, I may decide that not finishing it will be a waste and I may go crazy and finish it in like a day. Or I may say "Screw that" and never touch it again. I really don't know.'Neways, you came for a survey, you got an update on my GM life. Gee, what a deal.
1680x1050, 20"
Good size, but games just lag with it.Yeah, all my games are set to default to 1024, on Windows, at least.
1280x1024
I don't understand the resolution-changing hatred. I've an LSD screen, so changing resolutions without changing a bunch of settings before causes some blur, and still, I really don't mind (unless the game changes resolution and then crashes and I get stuck with it).1280x800
1280x1024, but I'd say go with 1024x768 to be safe.
Man, I wish I had an LSD screen. Maybe then all those mario clones would be worth playing…
320x240 all the way.
Don't let any police catch you with an LSD screen.
