hello, my untitled drag racing rpg is as follows, would love input.
you play a man named big ralph, starting you out in a drag race with a rival, when you win you have the option to get his pink slip, via rock paper scissors. your car is destroyed and your mechinanic, Paul, tells you of a man named shirtless steve who you have to go to get cars.the rpg aspect comes into play that you have option to challenge rival racers in a "city" setting, after you get your cash (exp) you can buy more cars from steve or you can convinice paul to train you in "speed" focus (better acleration off the line.)thats all i have so far. you and shirtless steveyou in the incomplete cityfirst racethose red lines are the "rivals downshift" they are going to be invisible in the final game. the rival has a one in three chance to miss his "shift."what do you folks think?

Looks like there are some depth issues (is the girl on the car?) The sprites for the people look good. Also it doesn't look very good to include real life textures with cartoony graphics.Getting graphics down is pretty difficult at first, over time you learn better methods. Just keep at it ;)Yeah, you can easily fix the girl-on-car problem by meddling with object depth.
Can't tell how the actual races will look like. Oh yeah, and do something about resizing…looks hella fun
Make sure the wheels spin when you actually move the car. It would look very odd if not.
