I've rambled on to those who frequent here, and now I have something to show to all[pre]K I B O S H[/pre]Kibosh is a node based shump(I dislike shmup, doesn't roll)that is inspired by the polarity system.Moving involves moving nodes to attack while the"ship"slides along towards the lower node
(Now shows the betrayl of Kairos(Or I just need to turn on screen sync))
[pre]E N G I N E[/pre]
There are no actual rapid shooting, main attack is done with the use of nodesThe polarity is chosen by which node you are nearer to instead of the click of a buttonThe controls are disgrace(Arrows move selected node,Z fires missiles,X shields and C toggles node.Main issue is node control)Why don't I have a demo posted like I would usually when fronting something or another? The workings are still under construction for seamless controls and more than an impossible cannon thing.I think I'll work on generating an array for the timeline system that can be done with a few loops and stuff
ooh pretty!
Make sure you smooth out the vector frames and turn interpolation on so everything looks much more nicer. If you don't, the frames will be horrible.
Looking forward to see what you have in mind.I'll keep that in mind,I'm use to using small things and the like so that feature seems more a waste of resources. Then again,my eye sight is quite poor
Looks pretty. I should work on my shmup :D
Lookin pretty cool. Reminds me a lot of my man Kairos' games :)
@Cactus=Yes,I have a liking for abstract just as Kairos does.I should've expected you'd both browse this,eh?
@George=Being that I like to avoid the use of sprites,I do find that many things come to be vector looking.Though with the use of my AdvDrw scripts,I've been able to go beyond a draw_rectangledemodemodemodemodmeo
Damn I knew you would fuck it up by making some abnormal way of moving or shooting…
Oh, no…premature release?
The game's fun, but crazy. As usual, you have a wonderfully annoying movement scheme, like Rob says, but that's what makes the game, right?@Rob: Dude never expect normal from serprex!
