I've collected a few balls recently, keep them in my pockets. I bring them out while bored in class, and amuse myself
The oldest is a wiffle ball, fun to poke stuff through and listen to the hollow bouncingThen I got a bouncy ball that's all cracked. It has about 50% bounce on a good surfaceThen I soon found a marble. Nice twang when it bounces, but I can't really do too much with marbles on a deskSo I was bouncing my bouncer when some kid told me to put it away. So I did, and took out the marble. He got annoyed and told me to put it away. So I took out my wiffle ball. Then he just gave upOther toy I found today was a dead lighter. Sure it was dead, but it makes sparks. So sometimes I just start making sparksBesides that, I like to keep a good set of beads with me. Things are tiny and roll nice. I had a fabric coated one last year, thing didn't make any noise while rolling. Made it good for classes where the teacher cared
Damn, the only balls I have are little glass ones that I have NO IDEA where they come from!
You can always have fun with your shoes. I'm always twirling mine around, I even see how high I can kick them when the teacher isn't looking

Silly CPS, I'm not bored at all. I think the people who do nothing and think it odd that I find these trinkets amusing, but then spend time being amused by simply watching, are the ones who really lack amusement
As for notebooks, who uses notebooks?If balls entertain you in lessons, go to an all boy school, you will never be bored :)
