HTML Editor

Posted by shadow382 on Sept. 5, 2006, 10:40 p.m.

What's up all my peeps?

Anyway, I started programming an HTML program in April this year and have decided to start working on it again. My goal is to create the easiest-to-use HTML editor sofar. How will I do that you ask? With your help of course. [:D]

Anyway, enough of my rambling. The real reason I'm posting this is to let everyone know beta testing is about to be ready. The first 5 people that post saying they want to be a beta tester will be one.

Beta testers will get to test the program and also get to make suggestions on what should be add/changed/removed to make this a great HTML editor.

Main Testers:

1. shadow382

2. sonic180

3. ace02

Beta Testers:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

Once beta testing begins, I will make a new section on my forum, just for testers, and that's where the betas will be released.

Here's a screen shot of the editor sofar: Click Here! (That was made with the editor.)

Info on Game Maker related stuff:

I've finished the menus in Project: A.N.S.I. and now need to make the cutscene and 5 levels. Demo should be out…sometimes, dunno when though.

Wow, this is a long blog. Usually mine are very, very short.

Thanks all for now

Hmm… the editor looks a heck of a lot like html itself… who know, it might help lazy people make webpages. Great, just what we need. =)

Do you mean the editor or the language? If you mean the language, it does look alot like HTML and this is one of the reasons I'm thinking about not even going any futher with it. But if I think of a good way to pull it off, it'll be in there. [;)]

just use < and > its alot more 'tag' like.

If you ask me, that doesn't look much different from a standard HTML layout.

I believe it would be more tedious to code in this rather than HTML.

HTML is about the easiest language anyway. It doesn't need simplifying really =/

See above.

Infact html isn't even a language. *oh here we go again*

lol

Okay, I have removed the language preview from the blog. I think people were thinking that's what you would program in with the HTML editor. It's not. You will still use HTML.

I mentioned that I didn't know if I was even going to make the language or not. As of right now, I don't think I am. [;)]

I'm already working on my old HTML project called FreeView HTML in Visual C# (.NET Framework 2.0 required). I would like to help though… depending on what it's made in. I could even do the graphics… or the save detection that allows you to use the save button without constantly having to use the Save File dialog (easy). Send me a PM or email (leemcd56@gmail.com). =)
