The most recent "hack" I've done is to GradeQuick, a software used by schools to digitalize grades, attendances, etc. Teachers using the software input the grades, assignments, etc and GradeQuick does all the behind the scenes calculations.
I'm currently working on an easy to use Java application that will take care of the unlocking/locking process, but it's a relatively simple thing to do by hand.Speaking of school-related hacking, I've gotten control of the highest network privileges that one could get on my network, and have created a backup admin account that I use whenever I need to access people's personal folders or whatever ^_^.Our school allowed full (besides porn of course) access to the web for all teachers. I've recovered a few teachers username/passwords so I've basically got unrestricted access to the interwebs. And that's about it… If you'd like more information about my GradeQuick unlocker, I'll be posting betas and that up at: http://steverolfe.com/blog/ (which is brand new as of a few days ago).
I had fun getting past my schools stuff until they started recording every website we visit and every program we run and every thing we do on the computer.
So what, you could potentially boost all your marks?
brilliant, I'll check this out every day
Potentially. I might not try it though xD. It was more or less to see if i could do it rather then put it into action…
Our school network is run by a lonely nerd. He thinks he's uber cool with all his restrictions, but opening up a batch file and typing 'unlock C:' kinda told him his place >=)
Yeah, school networks are fun. Especially when you can remote shutdown different computers!xD
and for the restricted websites I allways use ninjaproxi.comand to stop teachers from screening your computer use a processkiller of kill the process in a batch file.Hmm… I'm not sure 'unlock' is even a command…
Heh, I've never managed to hack my school, but someone else did, once.
They gave themselves and thier friends messanger capabilities through the school servers, but didn't realise that 'private' was set to '0', so everyone in the school could see it!They hid their tracks well, though, wern't found for ages, and that was only because a techie found one of their hacking files in the recycle bin!(P.S. I'd love to do it, but how would I start?)'unlock' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.Heh, Ben's situation sounds like my school, considering it has the IT academy, it's bound to have hackers all over. The school has right click gone, start menu is log off and shut down, the internet is restricted to only the home site and it's links (RRISD) uses fortress, which I could probly end through Task manager. I can thankfully access the folders in C: though, so I can access alot of the games, but no internet, cuz of fortress. I need to figure out the task name for it so that I can end it and travel freely.
