Yay for PS3-age!

[l]T[/l][sc]oday was the first and last day you could pre-order the PS3 at GameStop![/sc]

Aparently "Due to high demand" they have finished taking pre-orders for the most awesome-est console in the world of console-ness. Who pre-ordered today?

On a side note since im a G.A.P. member I could have gone to an party with Sony up in New York for playing i before everyone else got a chance but im not friggin 18 yet! Which pisses me off since NY is just a state over from me…

iDev you ask? Well not much progress was made today… I finished up a couple small things and fixed a couple GUI components. I'm really not looking foward to the Loading tab… Should be a pain in the ass to do…

In more random news im probably going to get a 40gig HD for linux, and get back on Windows eventually…

It's been said before, but it is becuase so few PS3's are being made. Sony didn't care about price management at all, they crammed as many things into one box as they can, and now the price is way too high for many people to buy it. Meaning Sony won't make money, and it will slowely die out.

Nintendo, on the other hand has actually put some effort into keeping the price down, by working on better and better designs. More expensive does not mean better. By the way, I do have enough money to get either console, I just see the PS3s gloom future, and will avoid it.

If you check the specs:

400,000 PS3's are being shipped to US

1,000,000 Wii's are being shipped to the US, and 4 Million by the end of the year.

The name is ridiculous, yes. But every single comment I heard about the controller was possitive. I thought it would be silly waving your arms around too, but It'll just take some getting use to and it won't seem any different than other things. Take DDR for example, or when the duck hunt controller first came out.
