Instead of throwing it away, why don't you improve the area(s) it was rejected for?
Hey that was classy.
2 months? Thats not THAT long…
I'm sure complaining about it will help improve your situation. I'd say complaining is a far better idea than doing something stupid, like improving your game so that it will be accepted next time (that would be ridiculous!).
Most of us don't have a clue what you're talking about, you should try PMing one of the mods instead
Hey there, I'm (usually) the guy who accepts or denies games. If I deny a game, I give a reason. I sometimes try and suggest ways that you can improve the game so that it can be accepted, though I don't do this for every game.
Although you may have spent 2 months making the game, this does not mean you have any more chance of being accepted than someone who made a game in a day. It's all down to the individual game.If you want more of a chance of your game to be accepted, follow these general guidelines:-Good graphics-At least about 5 minutes of gameplay (specifically for wips)-Well presented/polished-Non default resources-Instructions are usefulThough that is not a definitive list. In the end whether a game gets accepted or not depends on what the staff member thinks of the game based on the portion of it that they played, and what mood they are in at the time.Have a nice day =)God, almost as overreacty as redchu!
You should try what Kenon, Zane, REZ, and a few others, includng me, are doing. We work on out games for more than two months, and spend a lot of energy on them to make them GOOD.
All the staff send back e-mails on why it was rejected. Why don't you improve in those areas first before complaining?Turns out this guy's a dupe.
Fail.
