It's here! The demo of the API that will make your lives 9001x easier for highscores, achievements, friends list, multiple profiles, server list, multiplayer, etc!EDIT: Fortunately you guys reported some good errors, so I'll have to fix some things up for the next demo, including using a POST request rather than a GET, which I can't believe I've been using this entire time. Thanks to everyone who has tried it out so far!You must make an account here (if you havent already) to try out all of the online features!alertgames.net(I think it requires email verification before you can login, but yeah. its easy.)Play it to find out the new name for the community site!I will work on the redesign, and copy all the new information to the new site. The old alertgames.net will remain, but will be changed to only showcase my works! So, I fixed the profile saving, and I fixed the online security. Let me know if you have any more problems with it!Please try it out and give feedback, I worked very hard on it ;) Its EXE, so no need to extract anything! Thanks for trying it out! Feel free to post scores, create lobbies, etc!*******EDIT1: Fixed the registration Issue. I am hosting a match now that you can join in the game.EDIT2: There is a possiblity that it will return a 406 error. rare, but im looking into it.
No more crashes like before so that's good :)
The highscore mouse hover thing is somewhat inaccurate but it works.I and A in the main menu don't seem to do anything. But much better than before because it doesn't crash or error now :PThe A should download your avatar, and the I doesn't do anything atm. I may update it to show a messagebox of what it did ;) Maybe it didnt do anything because you don't have an avatar? :o
Try out the multiplayer stuff too ;)So I figured, let's test this!
So I tried to register.Instead, I got^
This.WhatDo?Alright fixed the problem, thanks for mentioning it. Also, sorry for the bad captchas ill fix that right now as well. ;)
At least I know im decent at working with php to fix it that fast..@Acid: Hmmm… Interesting. What does Secure Mode mean, and I wonder if there is a way to check for that? I have it so that if that fails, it just uses the working directory…
EDIT: Im also hosting a lobby right now so people can join in :oHeres an example of the friends feed:I really would like to test it for you. :\
I think Acid should run it as admin or something. His OS is restricting the program to create that exact folder, I think.
Also, I just registered, and nice job on privacy/security!Yeah I thought about that because of security issues, but I was trying to think of ways that people wouldnt forget their passwords <_<
