My ISP has decreed that we get capped at 5GB a month, for which we pay lots of money. After that 5GB is used, we can only access local sites (South African) and any site with a DNS server in this country (Youtube).
So I was watching much Youtube for the past week. In addition to that, I was making a game while in a semi-stoned state. Try it if you dare. Wow, 5GB is a pretty tight limit. Also, being limited to local traffic really sucks. I'm not sure how the rest of the world's internet works, but in Australia the general convention is to "shape" internet speed down to a crawl. I find being shaped hard enough, I feel for you man.
No shaping here. We're hard-capped the instant we hit our limit.
And 50GB local data… what's the point? I may be able to access Youtube, but I can't use the UPLOAD feature. Only watching. Oh well. Won't complain. My internet is back for a while.I used to complain about my slow 1 Mbps connection, but after seeing how everyone around the planet was getting capped and their speeds slowed down I realized my unlimited, 100% reliable 1 Mbps is the best.
As far as I know, I have no cap at all. No slowing down, no limits.

<3 FLCLI hate bandwidth limits. So much. When they came to the major providers in Canada, I was furious.
I actually planned to switch to a 3rd party ISP with no bandwidth limit over cable, but when I called my current provider, they offered me 175GB limit, 50mbps download, 2mbps upload, for roughly the same price.Rogers still fucking sucks, and I still hate caps, but I can live with 175 for a little while.Edit: That wasn't meant to brag, more of a venting.
