A really bland demo though. It's interactive, but it's not what I'm working on.I actually had this demo done last week, but I kinda forgot about it whatwith the engine development (You can't believe how much fun making yourown engine can be, when your code decides to cooperate.)It appears that all mid-sized games turn out to have an EXE size of 1.85mb.That's not including the resources (Which are all external), but it's still much betterthan it used to be (Before, I was using the DLL's. >.< That bumped the total zip sizeup to 8mb).You can run the game out of the ZIP if you want. It has music, sounds, LASERS,MISSILES and… endless enemies!Feel free to test it for 1 hour + to see if any slowdown happens. >:3Fine print! Mega and Company (From here on in called MEGA) cannot be held responsible if you (Now referred to as YOU) go completely and utterly insane while testing the THE PROGRAM (Herewith called GAME). Neither will MEGA be held responsible for any trouble YOU have with reading this document (From now on, named THE DOCUMENT). MEGA will not be held accountable for losses (LOST PROPERTY/MONEY) that you HAVE LOST THE GAME. >:3 Oh I'm so evil. RAWR!Now please sign the dotted line after neglecting to read the fine print. :3____________________Moar fine printf… I mean PRINT.<3 fine printIf you're wondering, it's cause I'm studying the GPL and various forms ofcontract.
:P
Game works fine for me by the wayWorks fine on my other computer btw.
Heh. Well, I'm looking into what causes this. Could be that your PC doesn't like SFML's PostFX Shaders for some reason, so it can't initialize the PostFX system. Anyway, I'm removing the Shaders temporarily, they're not really necessary at the moment.
Worked fine for me, nice tech demo. Enemy fire did catch me off guard too.
are those stars or snowflakes?
No, worse. Gradient shaded circles.
