Anim8or and U3D

So I've picked up external 3D modeling. 'Tis a blessing compared to what I was doing before.Draw an ellipsoid for each footUse x, y, and zrotations to make them animateAll sorts of other crudNow I use Anim8or to do my modeling and animation. It is giving me flowery bliss and mass amounts of happy goodness.Only problem is…I've talked to Abacus and he suggests that I use U3D to import sequences, as D3D can't manage it…at all. Even so, I can't use a program like Marzipan to convert the 3DS files to OBJ files. It won't convert sequences. This means I'll have to be pretty dang creative with my model importing, or I need a new program. Are there any recommendations for a model converter program for U3D?
Lixies Adventures
Now, I've been doing a lot of work on Lixies Adventures, mostly trying to satisfy serprex on visual appeals. Using Andes' platform engine, I've perfected movement, which is a blessing to me.
YoyoGames Winter Competition
Giving up 3D now. As far as I've heard, 2D is more preferred by staff anyway. Oh, well.Lixies idea in 2D then.
STARTING ALL FREAKING OVER!
NO! I've gone through too much. Regardless, the show must go on!
64Brawl
64Brawl is coming along nicely. I hope to have it up and going for a multiplayer online test. Serprex will probably help me with that. This means, I need people who want to accept the exe and a few other things for a server test. Yayz. Two weeks ago was attempted, but hopefully this weekend will be more successful.Oh, yes, here is that video I promised so long ago. Enjoy, comment, etc. Low-quality, yes. This video is better than the last.Yayz?Peace out,~Kilin "kiklin"
Actually, Killin has brought something to light. I've only made a few actual games. Thats it, fuck this shit, I'm making a platformer… tomorrow… >___>
Theres a program called urgay for converting models, look it up
@Sk8: Watch out, in my past 64B blogs, I've clearly stated that any games made by any non well-known user created AFTER 64B was announced WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
This reduces my amount of work, for one. Exceptions for staff and other awesome people.@ChIkEn: Dude…I'm not stupid. Don't mess with me, okay? If you have a problem with my questions, keep out of them.Is there any chance of me getting in with that alien guy that usedto be my avatar that I showed you whenever 64B was announced? I forget =p
That alien guy. I remember him. XD
I dunno, he doesn't really have any animations to him, does he? =(*thinks**considers**checks profile**considers again*Exceptions for you should be in order, I think. =)Bob's alien could throw cheese.
Am I still in it?
In any case, the AI seems competant, except for the'ooh! I've suddenly fallen off the stage' thing, where it just walks offTip: Use end step for snapping the arms.
well, the AI is pretty good, however, although the percent meter is pretty useless and hard to see at the top, considering that the action happens below.
@PY: Yeh, he's having trouble jumping in most cases. He won't perform a simple…jump…just a gravpad.
@TG: Ah, thanks. I'll have to try it.@Irony: The percentage meter wasn't intended for the video. It's low-quality, but well compressed. Percentage was originally a test to see how well the AI arrays worked. For the most part, they did. I could fight three different AI at once.
