Remember, anything tagged with "[64Brawl]" has to do with the game itself. It's just to let you know what the blog is about.
So, here's another bit of info, as well as a poll.I'm sure everyone remembers the SSB fighting screen, right? It zooms in and out depending on how far apart the players are. In doing this, you can see every character that's in the middle of the battle, with the exception of those off of the screen.A GM-type view only shows your character, and being less dynamic, will cause less confusion. You couldn't see every character at once, but it has that hide-and-seek element to it.Take your choice, just like last time.A. SSB CameraB. GM ViewResultsA……………………………………8B……………………………………1I'm confident the SSB camera is possible without using 3D, so if the votes come to that, it'll take me a while, but I should have it down. Also, beta testing is coming up. Only people featured in the game (maybe not even that many) will be able to play. People should be their own characters. Thanks for reading, go ahead and vote again.~Kilin
A.
Kilin, it should give you an idea of how to track the characters, though, I think.
A! Of course.
Chose A because everyone else did :D
A wins. Done deal.

There are a few camera examples over at the GMC, and they're great. I think only one of them is 2D, but I have that one. I made a small SSB game out of it:
http://rid3r.angelfire.com/JungleJapes.gmkThe music is from the wrong stage, and you can't deal damage, but the camera is there, and I made it so the damage meter becomes more red when it's higher (though it's probably no use to you). Oh, and I vote A, of course.Let's make it choosable in the options?
Eh? Wouldn't that be good?
