You have about two weeks left. How are things coming? I haven't heard from most people about this, but here's what I AM aware of:
- For the most part, hel is finished and is making several small updates over this month.- Purianite is doing a bit of work here and there, but hasn't reported in yet.- Polystyrene Man is mostly finished and is making some quality of life edits.- Daggerhog is mostly finished and is refining his sprites.- Cesque is plodding away happily bringing his game together.I haven't heard anything in terms of progress from the rest of you, even in the last progress check blog. Seems people are losing steam, which is exactly why I didn't want this to go on for so long. That or my dropping out was a worse influence than I thought, in which case I'm proud of those of you who kept working. My dropping out had nothing to do with the Completition itself so much as me realizing I wanted to do a lot more with it, and it wouldn't be appropriate to call it finished this early. It's just two more weeks, guys, and the majority of what I've seen can easily be finished before the deadline with a little pushing on your end. This event has been largely successful, so see if you can't make it to the finish line.News concerning S4D and the 64DCG will come in a following blog. In other news, I'm attending a writing conference next month. I have to beast edit my first ten pages and prepare a pitch for the publishers who'll be there. I cannot contain my excitement.
(Open Broadcaster Software is great, but Lightworks is way too complicated for me, so I spent 30 minutes looking into other free alternatives, 30 minutes getting rid of malware resulting from looking into free alternatives, and finally used Windows Movie Maker)
Behold, My First Movie Maker Video Ever:This is precisely what I'd hoped for from a Fire Point trailer. Good work.
Very nice trailer. Aeron's music is really nice :)
Wow, thanks guys. I swapped it for a (slightly) higher quality one. It's still clunky but there isn't much I can do about it without restarting everything from scratch (which I may actually try because it's FUN!).
