It's been nearly a year since I've posted anything. And with my usual procrastinating buddies coming back and saying things (hello Taizen, Charlo, and colseed), I felt more than a little obligated. My break was for the same reason as Charlo's – people here seemed to stop being interested in game design so I had no reason to post anything here because that's all I do with my time.
So, I went to California this past weekend to see a certain someone. It was a fantastic change of scenery, even though I spent most of my time outside LA. I got to see the ocean and sea lions and chickens (pigeons) and eat oysters and get sand in my hair and get lost in the confusing as fuck city grid system and get honked at by hundreds of angry LA drivers!I didn't take a single picture!Except of maybe one chicken (pigeon) that was throwing some grass around like a fucking moron.I also got to walk around a castle so that was pretty fun too.And I finally got around to watching Breaking Bad.So I'm back home now and tired as fuck but a break from game playing and game making has been quite refreshing and now I'm pretty stoked to get back to work. I haven't done much since I got back (except sleep) but here's some stuff I did over the past few months that you might enjoy. I like how after posting all these animations and music and progress, everyone comments on the part I thought would be TL;DR nonsense. You guys never cease to amaze me.
there's so much content in this blog that my browser refuses to load all of it at once about 90% of the time, so only the tl;dr nonsense text format stuff loads consistently for me
you brought this upon urself kirinuh, but on the actual content- i haven't really seen much of egg game or the actual praecantrix crafting system, so those are nice to see (egg sim lighting looks p swag btw)- it sounds like the Mako track has had some instrument changes since i heard it last and this is reminding me that i have to finish texturing that River model once school ends aaaaaaaã?‚ã?‚ã?‚ã?‚ã?‚ã?‚ã?‚- @terminys combat screenshot: needs more bullets- none of the music wips sound like wips (so good job i guess)edit:Yeah, I forgot to mention, the lighting is all thanks to Charlo. He did all the backlighting magic which is easily the coolest part.
