Seriously, I love how depths is looking. OH MAN, you don't get it. It's finally COMPLETELY RIGHT. it FINALLY looks perfect to me. FINALLY. I don't have any problem with either the ruins OR the maibuu rainlands environments!! OH WAIT YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE NEW RAINLANDS! [the green rocky treeish areas, duh.]

it has pretty water. it has well, pretty everything. god damn. as for areas, i think a wintery place would look really good. the backgrounds always make me think of Russia, maybe a Siberian sort of area. or maybe a variant of the other tree places using cherry blossom trees.Hel, I like how you think. Perhaps put together the cherry blossom trees with the wintery environment… hmm.

Maybe tropical island? Volcanic caverns? Something involving electrical storms/fog? Huge networks of caverns dug out by alien creatures that have become the underground equivalent of a rainforest?Ooooh the icy area could be on top of a volcano, so random hot spots would be melted and there could be rivers of lava in underground caves.I'm liking these ideas… But lets get more creative and original here

Green Hill Zone????Haha, just kidding. I'm loving those trees in the rain lands and I'm really happy you decided to go back to the Depths name.I'm thinking maybe like inside of a volcano? Or generally hot places with lava and stuff. And maybe an area in one of those city places in the backgrounds?Siberian tundra with cherry blossom would work great. Depends if it fits into your design but as Islamic-style fortress would be cool. I love Middle Eastern architecture.
