ok. basically, depths is on my handy dandy flash drive. and now, the flash drive RANDOMLY isnt being recognised by any computer i own. FUCK. THIS. SHIT. ill probly have to send my usb to someone who can extract the data off of it. ill keep you folks updated.
[EDIT:]No progress. Maybe I'll just start over. Again. loljkidkfuck.[EDIT:]OH well, Guess I'll start from 2 months ago. I have to re-program in the ledges…. fuck.OH, but today, I decided to re-pixel the protagonist. FINALLY Stopped being lazy. He is no longer all black and no longer blends into doors and dark backgrounds. I had to resprite every single animation of him running, climbing, jumping, turning, standing, crouching, etc. In-game, the suit looks much more… suit like. It's got lights and its shiny and looks like armor not just spandex hahaAnd, I was thinking, it'd only make sense to give him a kind of breathing apparatus. I mean, he is on an alien world.[EDIT:]Trying to get as much that I lost back as possible. Luckily, I had a copy of the most recent version of the tile set for this area. Check out his new suit, really does a lot, doesn't it?Depths as of TODAY:
Oh god guys, why is his skin green?
I would make his skin more pink to complement the green in the rest of his body.
Tyranic Moron free accounts at box.net start with 5GB… plus 256MB per referral sounds like a waste of time lol.
hel: From a quick look at the site, box.net doesn't seem to be an auto-syncing backup service? Plus, I'm at 5 GB now anyway :P
Considering I only signed up about a week ago, that seems pretty good to me. Maybe I should post my referral link in other places too…haha, that is why vector animation (using symbols) is always superior.
The problem with free box.net is that there is a 20MB limit per file.
haha that's never been a problem for me so, to each their own.
Me and a few friends use dropbox to sync a lot of stuff. Biggest I can remember was a 10 track album totalling about 1.2GB - dropbox handled that as well as it does a 1kb text file, which you can link directly to, or 13kb of static website, which it'll happily host and only complain if you go over the ~10gb/month free public bandwidth limit. If you -can't- share over 10mb, then you'll not consider it as a solution for anything larger - that doesn't mean it isn't useful.
Holy wow, guys. I just verified my Uni email address here: https://www.dropbox.com/edu
It gives you 512 MB per referral, instead of 256 MB, and applies to all referrals retro-actively! I just went from 5 to 7 GB instantly! It's also upped the max free space I can get to ~19 GB :DIf you guys have any school/college/uni email address that still works, go verify it :P
