Hell's Clothes in Bed with the Captain

Posted by DesertFox on Jan. 7, 2010, 2:57 p.m.

So, Sunday I flew back to New York, and as it turns out, I had a layover in Hell. Yes, Hell. I am not kidding. You could hear the anguished screams of the damned, smell the fire and brimstone. The sky was a smoggy haze, and everyone wished that they could somehow leave, all jealous of me because I was soon to be gone, out of their reach.

The locals call it New Jersey.

Specifically, it was Newark, NJ. The worst airport I have ever been to. The dirtiest, most disgusting, most horrible airport. The air really did smell, and the people there really did scream in anguish (or at least complain a lot). I hope to never have to go there again.

Did you know that there are Lifesavers Sour Gummi candies? I think that I have found my new purpose in life! I love sour candies, but unfortunately, sour candies are becoming less and less popular - I have seen some of my favorite candies die out in the last decade.

I just ate a fortune cookie, and my fortune was:

It is not always the clothes that make the man (in bed…)

Also, some random dude just came up to me and started talking to me. He obviously knew me from somewhere, but I have absolutely no clue who he is. Don't you hate that?

I've been playing Captain Forever which is pretty awesome. I've made some pretty awesome ships - check this one out!

You guys should try it out - see what ships you can make!

I made a small change in my avatar (added the little pawprint). I think it looks a lot better.

You guys don't know how well you got it with sour candy if you live in America. Sure, I dunno the current situation, but even if there is less than there use to be, your still really well off.

In the UK they don't do sour candy. Sure, you can walk into a shop and often find 'sour' worms or what not, but all they are are a normal sweet coated with what looks like loads of sugar. It adds a bit of bitterness but is definitely not sour and is very sticky and messy…

I have recently gotten some Warheads (the hard candy variety) from America and I dunno if it is just because I am older, But they stay sour for a much shorter duriation. They only stay sour for about 5-10 seconds. I remeber as a kid when the package would challege you to keep them on your tounge for a minute and it was actually difficult to do.

Although in the UK you can get tubes that contain liquid which you either spray or lick, and although they are quite sour, I find they arn't very enjoyable, as all the ones I have found have very cheap flavoring added to them, not to mention aiming the spray is quite hard and when you get it on your lips several times can kinda 'burn' them,

Opps, got a bit carried away on this topic of sour candy!

Yeah - Warheads suck now - they reduced the sourness after a class-action lawsuit because the acidity of the candy was causing kids mouths to bleed, because they would suck on the candy in the same position too long.

Damnit, a bleeding mouth was worth it!

On the topic of candy, there's Mexican candy.

…It is most certainly NOT candy. That was the worst mix of salt and sugar I've EVER tasted.

My apologies to those that actually like it.

Rainbow sucks.

Play my ship

I always wondered how the hell my bullets started going in diagonal directions in addition to perpendicular with my ship. What's the idea there?

EDIT: Wow, Kaz, your ship is pretty hardy. Got me all the way to rainbow in only a few minutes. But of course, rainbow killed me. Oh well.
