steven, you're a goldmine of agreement, if that makes sense to you. you're reading my mind

I'm amazed that I, for the most part, used proper grammar/spelling when I was 12, especially since at that time it was totally acceptable not to. Way to go 12-year-old-me! Maybe one day I'll read through all 1417 of my comments, though that would probably just be disappointing.

hooooly shit, this is probably something you should warn people about before doing! gonna hide this w/ css til you add an option to turn it off.

also, steve, all due respect but I have a completely different opinion on this matter

Nobody is going to judge you based on what you said when you were 13.
maybe so but I am definitely judging myself for things I said < a month ago, which feels pretty shitty

Besides, we all have memories of how each other acted X years ago. Deleting comments isn't going to get rid of those memories. You should accept your past and learn to laugh at it.
memory is not nearly that reliable. and even if it was, I wouldn't want everything I've ever said on this site organized in a publicly peruse-able way

and also, if I want to accept my past by pretending it never happened, that's my right ;)

This originally was made as a tool for moderators, but we discussed and decided this would be a feature that the general user base would benefit from having. That being said, if you and other users would like to have the option to hide this list I'd be more than willing to accommodate and give the option.

Honestly, it's no different than what most forums do by allowing users to look through a member's post history. Granted, those aren't available to guests; maybe it should only be accessible to members. I don't see why guests need to see comments in that format anyway.
