Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel and start from scratch with no ideas or foundation for a project, I think I'm going to expand on one of the only games I ever finished and published "Savage Defense". This time in a true 3D environment rather than the fake 3D effect I was working with. There were so many things I wanted to put in the game that I failed to implement and many things could have been done more efficiently. I think I'm going to work on it again. I haven't worked on a GM project in awhile and I feel i'm in need of actually publishing another completed game. I've been using GM since 2005 and only published 3 completed projects. All released 2-4 years ago. I keep experimenting with things and haven't gone anywhere with the experiments. So it's back to the drawing board. This time taking what I have and looking to improve the quality of the game. Let's do this.
I don't have any published creations :V
I'm too busy making more projects to finish any of them :DBest of luck to you!Taizen Chisou sums up my entire existence.
Kilin sums up my entire existence.
I only have 3 games that I've ever finished, one of them I deleted from the 64D database. :(
OOOOOOOOOOnly 3? ONLY?
I've only finished 10 games in total, but not counting the ones I'm ashamed of, 3.
GM isn't really the best suited for 3D, but if you can pull it off kudos to you!
Good luck.Apparently they've made some nice 3d speed improvements in 8.1, though I don't know if the speed improvements were limited solely to the functions used in their speed example.
Yeah, 8.1 was starting to improve the 3D capabilities. Though did anyone make that level designer that would export levels and be easy to design 3D levels?
