I'll give it about a B
Grade for Microsoft Conference:DGrade for Sony Conference:BGrade for Nintendo:B+Also, I think that this E3 didn't have much in terms of exclusives for each console, it was quite dissappointing.Lastly, what are you looking forward to playing the most?My list(No particular order):Gears of War 3, it looks like a blast to play online with friends, it's co-op mode, horde especially.
I have a whole lot more to add to this list, but it'd be too much. :p Minecraft for 360 :p Uncharted 3 Battlefield 3 Assassin's Creed Revalations
I also agree with Cesque in saying Halo 4 is unnecessary. I played the third just for kicks, saw Master Chief die at the end, thought that was a very good way to end a franchise, and was happy for the short experience.
To find out that they revived him is…disappointing. And it's completely the fault of the fanboys. The problem is that sequels sell best and are what make consoles worth buying for a large majority of players. Theres also the fact that the more series your company has, the more likely that a new idea will fit well into an old series so that you don't have to waste time coming up with a new series just for that gameplay idea.
Aside from the basic story that ends up in most games, nintendo is actually fairly good with originality in both zelda and the main mario games. Each zelda game might have the same essential things, but they always add lots of new gameplay features and leaves out older ones. Also… the legendary ending of halo 3 showed that master chief wasn't dead, even though I dont want halo 4 its not like its a surprise.@Kilin
If you've beaten Halo 3 on the hardest difficulty, Master Cheif actually survives. But Halo 4 is indeed an unneccessary sequel.I played legendary co-op. I may have missed an extra bit, if anyone wants to recap for me.
But still, the Halo 4 trailer showed him as if he was being miraculously revived. From what I saw (and even though you say he wasn't dead), it makes little sense why they'd show a heart start beating. Here's proof:
At the end of halo 3 master chief goes into suspended animation and tells cortana to "wake him when she needs him" and then shows time pass and the ship drifting towards a planet. Then the halo 4 trailer shows master chief being woken by cortana saying she needs him and they are falling towards the same "planet" they showed in halo 3 so essentially this is just seconds after the halo 3 legendary ending.
The miraculous revive you describe is just his suit turning on and his body waking up after being in suspended animation for what must have been years.edit: ok so the ending was posted while I typed =pYeah, apparently I didn't watch the whole thing. That or legendary co-op doesn't count (that shit was hard).
But anyway, that makes a lot more sense. Not that I'm really into Halo, I mean I just played it because I wanted to do some co-op with my uncle. But really, Halo 3 is probably one of the few games I've played with a very epic feeling most of the way through. The final stage was a blast two-player.Yay, Cesque is excited for Journey too! :D
I can't stand Assasin's Creed, people keep telling me it's different it's different from the first one, but I get bored all the same (though the first 30 minutes are satisfying). Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..The only thing I look forward to halo games are the lan parties my friends host.I'm set on buying the psv day one, the announcement of the price got me super excited. Also I think Sony needs to prep the people who are showing games they're developing, they always sound so nervous lol.Assassin's Creed isn't simply about gameplay. It's about story. Once you start getting into the story, it won't let you go…
Also, in my opinion, Assassin's Creed 1 was meh, but every other game in the series was excellent. Seriously, this game's story is like a huge puzzle. :pI can't wait until Revelations. Also, I was lmao at the guys wheezing and sweating at the Sony Conference on stage.
Was it hot in there or something? lol
