Anyone get to play it? No spoilers, but it is most assuredly the best Halo ever made. (So far)
343 definitely lived up to, even surpassed the expectations I had for a new Halo game.
The visuals are the best of any game I've ever seen on a console.
The animations, textures, and art direction worked together so well. The facial animations are what surprised me the most. I would describe them having the quality of LA Noire facial capture, but with much better textures and detail.
The single player campaign is also the best of the series in both story and character development. The gameplay is pretty much as Halo as ever.
The multiplayer is perhaps the funnest Halo multiplayer experience I've ever played. My only gripe is that you have to unlock visor colors.
Anyway, if any of you did play it, please, I would like to hear your thoughts/ experiences on the matter.

I found it funny how there are some really awesome graphical improvements of the game, but the logo sucks ass (imo).

Now they've come out with FFA Throwback, I find this perfect.Objective-based matches of FFA Oddball and KoTH. Shit's flying everywhere, and you can actually flank unsuspecting guys like the good old days because they're going for the objective. Feels very balanced to me, rather than the other game modes where if your team is getting raped, you're just raped.Reminds me of the days when I'd play Rocket Gulch matches in Halo CE on Bloodgulch and Rat Race. Except I was actually good… Now I'm forced to use controllers. Ugh.You know what's funny? I've noticed that not a single game that came after has had better water than Halo 3 did.
I wonder why that is…If Halo 3 had Halo Reach or 4's textures and model detail, it'd be graphically the best really. Halo4's model textures are more detailed, but you got more muddy set pieces than Reach, which I thought was pretty sharp overall. The weapons look ages better than any other Halo game.
But they've sacrificed a lot of good effects, lol. I mean Halo 3 had footprints in the snow, mang. And yea, better water.Halo 3 was the best multiplayer ever made.

Gonna add you on Live. "A squidget"Halo CE will always be the best Halo in my eyes. It was just so perfect at what it did. And there's no other Halo game where I actually find the levels memorable. Silent Cartographer and The Library? Man. Halo 4 kinda whizzes by story-wise.
But then again, I've only played the story once.
