@Bob799

This is what I found when I looked at the source of the translator =D

newtext=newtext.replace(/ awesome /i, " wii ")

Yes, I have lots of time. I was thinking about making it VOS, like my most recent languages, but most people tend to find that difficult.

Bah, it's easier than getting used to the orthography or the many aspects of a verb ;)

And speaking of orthography, again, I have to say it's a bit confusing. E.g. you AI /aɪ/ and OI /ɔɪ/, but Ã? for /eɪ/ (instead of EI). Speaking of which, AI would fit more for "shall" vowel /æ/ instead of Ö. And X for /k/ is just… weird ;)

Ps. What's the difference between I and AI? :/

ludamad 17 years, 9 months ago

Cesque: I think he just wanted an alternative form of the same sound (which while still being unambigious is a bit redundant)

MahFreenAmeh 17 years, 9 months ago

Oh my. I forgot. I put the wrong sound up for AI. I do have an awkward orthography, indeed, because I like to confused people.

Ludamad, it would be said as follows:

MaFrënÄmëharasörävtöxazetaxöräxortatë

Xxypher: Assuming that Xxypher is pronounced Eks-zypher (I don't use the IPA that much. Don't ask why), then it would be Ëksaiför, and Brandon is Brëndën.

But yes. AI is actually supposed to make a bit of a rounded "e" sound, that is… Take an english E, and say it, but as you do, open your lips, then start closing them towards the middle of the sound. That's what it's meant to sound like. It actually is meant to sound a little like OI, but a bit more rounded.

sweeeet

Ëksaiför

You're a weirdo, MahFreenAmeh.

MahFreenAmeh 17 years, 9 months ago

Yes I am.

Now I can insult people in a foreign language.
