You can create/place/destroy blocks in the exact same manner that Minecraft does and move about, jump and such (But it is a little glitchy because you can slide between two blocks).

What I find interesting is that I said nothing racist (I didn't even swear) and they (the religious extremists) didn't like what I said, so they went and whined to the moderators of said art website, claiming that I was "attacking" them. Shortly after that, I was suspended from there for about a week - I still am - yet they were attacking gay rights in general, and as such, they should have been suspended, not I.What bullshit.I suppose butthurt 'tards will be butthurt 'tards who whine to moderators on a daily basis. Eh.Oh, and inb4 you guys whining about me not supporting religion. I don't hate it, and the only reason why I disproved the religious extremists on that art site was because they were attacking people's personal preferences, freely throwing around the "you are sinning" and similar quotes such as "being gay is sin".I honestly don't care if someone is religious or not, but when it starts stepping upon the toes of other people's personal preferences, that's when it's gone too far.Anyway, I gotta go and work on my multimedia projects.

Heh. In 3d Environment Development class, we had to make a game in 3D with C++ and DirectX. My teammates and I almost went with a single-player Minecraft clone. Mind you, this was before Minecraft became popular. We chose to do an underwater submarine racing game instead though.
Indeed, if you're going to try and emulate something you need to use the right tool for the job. Yes, you can make a sculpture with a sledgehammer, but don't expect praise for it outside of your hipster art circle - especially if you're just trying to emulate Michelangelo's David, with your only new point being "Now with more sledgehammer!"
People aren't saying "lolGM" because GM sucks, they're saying "lolGM" because it's not the right tool for the job, and poor imitations using poor tools shouldn't be praised, even out of spirit.GM is surprisingly powerful for its simplicity, but not in the 3D area. When I tried Minecraft as a demo, I got terrible framerates. Though it's a very low-poly game, I'd hate to see it in GM.

also,I'm not supporting what they were saying necessarily, but how does talking about how you're against homosexuality somehow amount to stepping on the toes of anyone else? They're not forcing anyone to do anything, any more than I'm forcing people not to murder each other when I say I think murder is wrong.
yeah but you'd get sick of hearing about murder being a sin if that's what you do on the weekends.
