So a while back I applied for a Dell Preferred Account, and got approved for up to $1000.
Awesome, until I tried to use it. Been nothing but headaches.I'm sure with a half dozen more phone calls to Dell I'd be able to use it, but I'm lazy and have other options.Sooo, I applied for a $2000 loan with Navy Federal. And got approved. Hopefully this will be less of a headache than the Dell shit. But anyway, here's what I'll be getting:HP Pavillion dv6tseComponents * • Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit * • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-840QM processor (1.86GHz, 8MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.2 GHz * • 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5650 Graphics [HDMI, VGA] - For Quad Core Processors * • 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) * • 640GB 7200RPM Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection * • Microsoft(R) Office Starter 2010 * • No additional security software * • 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (standard) - Up to 5.25 hours of battery life +++ * • 15.6" diagonal High Definition LED HP Brightview Widescreen Display (1366x768) * • No TouchScreen (includes HP TrueVision Webcam) * • Lightscribe Blu-ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support * • Intel Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth * • Backlit Keyboard with Fingerprint Reader
Well Rob, I do want to be retarded and waste my money.
And I don't care too much about battery life.My laptop used to last 11 hours on a single charge, but now it gets 8. :(
But that's such an unbalanced retarded laptop! Seriously… get 4gb of RAM and an i5. And I hope to god you don't plan on playing any games on that… (Yet you got an i7? Get an i5, holy shit. And 4gb of RAM!)
kjfkldsjfsldEverything is wrong with that computer.Laptop on steroids…as long as it plays everything silky smooth, that's awesome. Otherwise it's a waste, and one little hitch, I suggest grabbing the nearest automatic weapon and firing away.
Navy Fed is usually pretty good in terms of their loans.
Rob is a terrible troll.
My laptop was built for schoolwork and I still play games on it. 1.8 GHz, 2.5 GB RAM, blablabla. Lasts five minutes on battery, overheats when I'm not playing games (need to clean it again). And I should probably mention that it's three years old and I have little intention of getting a new one.And I like Dell over most other manufacturers.Troll me, bitch.Mine has 4gb ram and 2ghz dual core and it runs fine, though I haven't tried many newer games. I prefer HP over other laptop companies =p
Dells aren't bad.. you can throw them against the wall and they still work, not like most laptops which are about as tough as fine china.
i've been planning to trade this shitty Compaq with a friend's Dell but i don't wanna have to go through moving all my stuff again. ._<I'm pretty happy with this Emachines laptop I'm using right now. They barely heat up, unlike my other laptop which is a hulking Toshiba that apparently spews lava at every application opening.
