A 15" screen at 1920x1080? That's quite some pixel density, there, I hope you have good eyesight!
I'd also consider not replacing the drive, 100GB won't get you very far if you're planning to install many games on your gaming laptop. (And what sort of battery life does it get?)Price?
I don't care too much about battery life. I have a 2 TB external for movies and music, so I'd only have to worry about having space for software. And there's only a small handful of games I'm interested in playing… Civ V, rFactor 2 when it comes out, and maybe a few others.
I'll also be using it for emulation, but ROMs and ISOs will go on my external.Oh and the price was $1829 even.Oh, that external will solve most of your problems, then. You can even install games to your primary drive, and move them over to your external later, so long as you move them back before trying to play them. Expensive, but there's no such thing as a good cheap laptop, I suppose.
Yeah. I'm thinking about getting a 120 GB SSD instead, just in case. And I may throw 8 GB of RAM in it too.
