Well my old computer finally called it quits. It was my fault, but the more I think of it the more I realize it was one of the dumbest things I've ever done with a computer, so I won't go into details… Okay, fine:
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/themexp.orgI downloaded from that site, and my firewall was off. Big mistake, I'll be using siteadvisor from now on:http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/64digits.comAnyway, my new computer is nice. Here are the specs:Processor: 2.30 Ghz CeleronRAM: 1GB SDRAM 100mHzHard Drive: 250GBVideo Card: NVIDA GeForce 2OS: Vista Home PremiumUnfortunately no more GM6 for me. I wanted XP, but no one sells computers with it anymore, and after my little mishap with my last computer, my parents won't let me do a dual boot. (Not that they would if I hadn't made that mistake. :P) Other than the fact that it's incompatible with GM6 and some of my games, and the fact that it eats half of my GB of RAM, Vista is pretty cool. I like the way it looks as well as that sidebar. I've had no problems relating to the operating system itself yet either. I still would've preferred to get XP, but I'll be able to live with Vista for now.Oh yes, and Element is still going. My backup files may be infected since I did it while I had the malware, but someone still has a clean copy of the source, and will be able to send it to me. (After implementing PvP! [^^]) In the mean time, I made it (another) forum! http://elementonline.ipbfree.com/Oh look! I'm SX rank in ST now. (Not Really) [:P]
Hm? NO! It's not celeron! It's AMD Athalon Dual Core! [^^]
I like how Win98 looks, thankfully XP lets me keep it that way.Round edges…they make me cringe
As for GM6,ya,the converter is pretty nice.Too bad it doesn't totally convert them…though you won't noticeYou serious about that GeForce 2? You can afford that?
(One websites lists it for €750. HOLY SHIT)Dual-boots are nice, thats what I'm running now, as for Vista, my opinion can be seen here http://nicktm.firephoenixnet.com/blog/4
What's your video RAM?
I have a GeForce4 from four years ago, imagine how old a Geforce2 is?Eeehm…. fuck vista :P.
Cool site advisor links. I've got a green!
Meh, I'd hate to be on vista.-Elmernite
