Has anybody heard about the wii getting recalled for the controller?

apparentely people have been chucking there controllers at the t.v/wall/ windows etc. and there blaming it on nintendo. lol. if your throwing your nintendo wii controller at the wall than you might want to switch to water ok lol!

well post ur comments and tell me what you think about this recall

personally im 50 50. i think it would be cool if the wii did have like lil wristbands or something. but w/e

one more thing

what does wii stand for?

i can only code out the W

it means "what the heck were they thinking naming it wii"?

and I stands for

imune to walls tv's or any hard surface!

The controllers should have come with grips anyway. But apparently they decided to dip them in grease before selling them.

Some of the reports are of people's controllers actually flying into their TVs and damaging them, which are the primary cause of this recall.

It's funny, 'cause it's not Nintendo's fault at all. It's the individual's own fault.

It comes with a wrist strap to strap to youre wrist.[:)]

I haven't throw my controller to the wall, yet.

Yeah, they're recalling because they made a stronger wrist strap. They're replacing them for free.

^^YEP.

They're just recalling the strap, not the Wii, just get a new, strong, strap for free, and don't play like an idiot with a greasy wiimote.

That's what you get for washing your hands in a bucket of grease before playing with you Wii…

It's good that you don't have to pay for a new one, that would've sucked.

I play without a strap at all and I play games like wii sports tons, you don't see my controller flying into the wall…

funny thing is, the wii-mote is the only thing that ends up in perfect conditions O_o

That's Nintendo craftsmanship for you. My TV (which weighs more than I do) fell onto my Gamecube. Gamecube only has a black smudge on it, but the TV has a huge crack in it.
