Dunno if any of you guys are big into emulation, except for hel.
But I just noticed that a new version of PCSX2 got released a few days ago. Supposedly it boasts noticeable speed gains, in addition to better game compatibility, among other things.Imma boot into Windows to put it through its paces. My hardware's strong enough to where performance was never too big of an issue with the old version, but some games did experience some hang ups. I'm more excited about compatibility improvements. Maybe it'll be able to start up my copy of SOCOM? I'll find out shortly, I suppose. lol
Kilin, try Final Fantasy X and Katamari Damacy. Great games.
I like emulators that can play the discs, since I prefer playing games I own =p
*installs*I do have to wonder now that its installed, it says it is only legal to use your "own" bios. I own a ps2, why would it be any less legal for me to download a bios? Is this just like how rom sites used to say "it is legal as long as you delete within 24 hours"?Shadow of the Colossus doesn't run well for me at all. Any hints on making it perform better? Or is my Core2 Duo E8400 just not potent enough for it?
Awesomesauce, now maybe I can run Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut at a more decent framerate.
Already did the latter. As far as the speedhacks, I turned on about half. I'll try all of them.
I guess it's time to load up Disgaea 2 again. It'll run like a dream.
