By now, everyone has heard that Steve Irwin, the crocodile, has been killed by a stingray. We all knew that something would get him someday, but I don't think anyone would have guessed stingray. I was thinking more like a cowboy riding a T-Rex while using a flamethrower, or a polar bear driving a motorcycle with a machine-gun weilding frog-man in the sidecar. A stingray is kind of boring. The most terrible part of this is that the stingray attack was filmed, and even though the film will not be shown on television, some asshole is gonna put it up on the internet, gauranteed.
I agree that Steve Irwin is not a crocodile.
also…I WANT THAT VIDEO SOOOO BAD. If I find it, not only am I sharing it, but Im posting it here for you all to see.He puleld the stingray shoot out of himself (it was over 6 inches long and had perforated claw backtracks so when you pull it out, it rips your insides like hell) and they got that on film. How badass is that?!It already been put up, but I havent seen it.
I cried when I heard the news…unlike most I loved him v.v He was my hero damnit Dx He was awsome…and did so much. May he rest in peace v.vFeel so bad for his wife and kids…I loved watching Steve Irwin, crocodile hunter was one of my favorite shows when I was little.
I'm really going to miss watching him on TV. :(The video has already been posted? That's disgusting, I'm all for the first amendment and all, but some things go too far. There was a Canadian couple who raped and killed girls on tape, and those tapes aren't up on the internet. At least I hope they aren't. Sometimes I feel the whole internet should just be shut down.

By the way, I apologize for any misunderstanding caused by my post. I did not intend in any way to offend the family or fans of Mr. Irwin. Having dealt with death before, I know it cannot be avoided, and feel that since death cannot be changed, we should learn to deal with it with a healthy attitude and sense of humor, not act like it's something that never happens and therefore shouldn't be addressed. I feel that my comments are much less offensive than certain comments about it being cool to pull a stingray spine out of your own stomach on tape, and I am outraged that people would do something as terrible as make the Irwin tape available on the internet, where it will be used for profit from advertising. Also, the crocodile was a typo. I meant for there to be a hunter in there.
