Progress on everything I am working on has been postponed indefinitely as the librarians at my school have come to the conclusion that my testing of my projects has been influencing everyone else into playing video games, which has been strictly disallowed.
They're going so far as to shut me down when I'm logged in, have GM open, but no game.Unfortunately, this not only keeps me out of Frosty Four, but it also puts the Ricerca Strano 0.1 and Lunacy Star 1.0 releases on hold forever.Sorry, everyone. In totally related news, happy birthday to Ferret. My phone can't render animations, so I can't watch you dance.Back to math class~
Do what I did at my local library: Get in through the Admin backdoor that all teachers can't seem to notice.
…How does that stop the Big Brother program that they use to spy on everyone?
I know how to do that, but I'd imagine that wouldn't stop their communismStart the computers in Safe Mode every day?Disconnect the computer from the network?
You could do that. Though it makes using anything useful a bit difficult. I'd just use the Admin account, open up msconfig.exe, and disable all the monitoring programs. Problem solved. >:3
At my school to get rid of that, open a word document, type gibberish then click log off. When it asks would you like to save hit Cancel. Then, you stay logged on but all other programs close… Open up GM :) Works for RM at least
I suppose I forgot to mention that this was after I asked them if it was okay, and they said yes.
I don't think that the MS Word solution would quiiite work… it's worth a shot, though…I'll try Safe Moding into the admin account first…Cause that is the easier and more legit way of doing it =P And, it works surprisingly well on most systems =D
Also that's ridiculous if they said it was ok… on the other hand how'd you get it installed, can you install any exe?I operate from flash drive.
The 1984 program they've got shows you a live feed of a student's screen, and lets you remotely command the computer to shut down.Ah man, I remember being watched with the whole live screen thing. I hate those.
Back when I had a class where the teacher used a live screen thing, I'd pull up a picture saying "Nothing to see here, move along" or something witty when I wasn't actually using the computer.
