A music critiquey thing request

So I've probably made music pieces over a number of different genres. Most of them horribly stupid and awful.

But I digress.

There's no getting better without people angrily downvoting everything I do, right?

One of those trendy timelapse videos of me composing will be forthcoming.

(Bear in mind that I'm only going to post the work that I actually want people to listen to.)

I've made some new-ish things in the past while.

My favorites out of the newer ones include:

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/untitled-song-7

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/forest-jade

(Forest Jade was made today; Untitled 7 was remastered, as it's from 2010)

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/war-zone-v2

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/let-us-begin-v2

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/untitled-song-30 (on the fence about this one, though)

Older pieces that I don't remember if I've shoved in your collective face:

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/untitled-song-13

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/midi-untitled-song-27

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/stage-4-2-renegade-bedtime

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/neonmetalarena

https://soundcloud.com/taizenchisou/radicallaserunderworld

So…. tell me what you think! I wanted to get some pointers in before I sit down and begin working on the soundtrack to… a new project.

I listened to all of the 'new' section, and to be honest, they all seemed to lack melodies; they were more like drum loops. Don't feel bad though. I've spent tons of time recording music I later decided was lame. It's the hard part of gaining skill.

Taizen, you play Touhou. Surely by now you'd know how to melody!

I actually have no idea whatsoever.

My composition process involves randomly airbrushing notes and removing the ones that suck.

It's better than smashing your face on the keyboard multiple times until something sounds right.

http://www.64digits.com/?cmd=markov&user=Glen. Probably the funniest thing I've read in a long time. But I agree with randomness not always being the best way to deal with music. Some of the best things I've created had to deal with trying things out of the norm. Trial and error.
