That was actually a fun bug where they were fighting over food.

Demons apparently French kiss.

DAMMIT

I may or may not work on this tomorrow because university sucks. It's totally unfinished but here's what I have:

RIOT (PLAY IN BROWSER)

IT'S A FLASH GAME YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO DOWNLOAD

THERE'S NO SOUND BECAUSE SCREW YOU THAT'S WHY

Instructions:

Stop the rioters from reaching the police barrier.

There are two types of police units - riot shield units and tear gas units.

I planned for others but what the hell are you going to do about it

MOUSE CLICK - Click on police units to select them

MOUSE CLICK - Also click to shoot tear gas when you have selected tear gas units

W,A,S,D - Move units around

SOMEONE PLAYTEST THIS SHIT

I'M GOING TO BED

so many rioters, so few polizei to keep them back @_@

Riot: Maybe if it was a bit more polished, I'd might like to play it. But I don't know why… It's just not that fun to me. BUT I can say that I loved how crazy hard it was. It took me a ton of tries just to beat the first level.

That's pretty cool, Toast. I feel like something is wrong with the mouse sensitivity, though.

Quick reviews (I'll have to post longer ones under actual entry submissions later…):

Unaligned: That was oddly entertaining! I liked the ending.

Toast: Fuck that one level with fragmented buildings where you know exactly where to put your Met buddies but there's not enough time. Fuck it >:(

Acid: There isn't too much to do… is there?

Also Charlie & Taizen YOU BETTER FINISH THAT DAMN GAME eventually. This is funny because I still haven't played Lykan.

I think I'm done with this for now.

Hard finding a place to wrap things up but I think that after a short break, I'll go back and finish it. It's meant to be a lot more creepyfuck and 64 hours isn't enough to do much, though it was an excellent way to get started.

Also, show me all the bugs you find. I bet they'll be hilarious and make me feel warm because I'm drunk.

Also, I have to go through and play the other games now.

For a minute I thought I'd accidentally woken up on Tuesday.

That'd be bad.

don't know if i'll have time tomorrow morning to add collectables and enemies (read: actual gameplay), so here have a wip version:

Cut v0.1 (flash file, should play in browser)

there's basically nothing to do other than walk around in the level (no run animations yet, so it's really more *sliding* around the level but close nuff)

on the plus side i actually have half of an idea of how to make a game using this flixel thing now so yay

Alrighty, let's see here…

Firebug: Really neat, I beat the last level like this. Simple, fun and quirky. I mean, who doesn't like throwing others into fire "by accident"?

Acid64Jam: C'mon man, what was stopping you from adding a timer that made you lose when it reached zero can could be increased by saving VIPs? I'd have invested more time in it if there was any way to win/lose. Seems like a fun idea (again, "accidentally" setting others on fire), although controlling the jetpacks was really difficult.

Riot: I managed to beat a few levels by blocking any possible pathways on the map with shield guys and/or tear gas. Then the rioters could "escape" practically from the top of the map and I said 'eff it. It seemed mostly like a timed test to optimally place your guys on the map, because there's so many rioters that moving them once they're swarming is pointless. Also, making the cursor move around the grid exclusively was somewhat confusing. Despite its faults, this has potential.

Phantasmal Dissonance: Was there any way to avoid whatshername from throwing herself into the abyss when you possess the orb? Anyway, there wasn't much to see asides from the atmosphere, which you managed to do well.

Cut: As you said, not much to do, but the character sprite looks nice.
