As some of you know, I run a website named Lloyd Owns fayt. Basically, it's a site where we make fun of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and its fans because the game is just so ridiculous.
What do I mean?Well, take a look at this video:http://youtube.com/watch?v=NrBRTeSrI-IThe first thing you'll notice is the nail-on-a-chalkboard voice acting. Then, you'll notice the horrendous dialogue. I could go on, but I think you get the point that the game is generally pathetic. You also get the point that the main character is a socially inept dork who can't function properly with women. And, that's just getting started. The plot of the game goes like this:You're on a planet. Aliens attack. You escape to an olden planet.You get involved in a filler story for most of the game.They steal the plot from the Matrix and attach it to the end. And, that pretty much sums it up. All in all, I have too much free time and nothing to do in it except make fun of badly done RPGs. HOORAY FOR SUMMER!
Glad I didn't get it. Whats with RPGs these days that the concept of a compelling story and characters is like a plagued rat you just don't want to touch?
Yes, indeed. About 1/3 of the way through the storyline and nifty battle mechanics were actually quite charming, but the Elicoor2 part dragged on for way too long. Sucky ending, too.
The invention-system also was monumentally frustrating.I have to agree, Tales of Symphonia is better.

Ever play the second star ocean for the PS1? What did you think of that? IMO it's the greatest RPG I've ever played.…ya,running a website to denounce some game is really sad
Denouncing the game isn't its sole purpose, though. The real fun is that we get people who are obssesive over the game come to the site. Then, it really gets fun. > : D
