I have some really, REALLY unfortunate news. I have lost a flashdrive containing the most recent version of the game I have been making(That is the most recent Squares game). This comes as a huge shock because I was just about to release the demo. This really sucks because I really put some work in it. Some of you may have seen the video I posted a few post back.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBie1Ou4z2EI did back it up but that means that I have to retype several weeks worth of code, graphics, and stage design.I need advice on what to do next. I was thinking of releasing the .gm6 for all those interested in helping me complete. I don't want to start all over again after coming this far and don't want to release a crappy looking demo. What should I do?EDITEnough is enough. You guys are just a bunch of dumb asses. None of you, absolutely NONE OF YOU could answer the simple question if what next. Like FireflyX I am leaving this god forsaken community for good. Your all no help at all.
Heh, they auto URL ftp!
Heh, they fail.
I once lost one too, the difference is that it didn't have anything in it.
None of you are helping at all. All I want to know is if I should:
1. Release the crappy demo as an example.2. Or ask one of you sorry bastards for help.God you guys suck at giving advice.Why did you keep it all on a flash drive? Use your hard drive? It's a bit messier, but it's quite hard to loose it..
Save current versions on your hard drive and back up on flash drives.Well, whatever :/...
2that's it. This has tested my patience for too long. This community sucks. I'm leaving for good.
goodbye =).
come back soon!my computor messed up a few times and It deleted every thing and including my The World's End game, but fortunatly I uploaded it before that, but it was an earlier version of it, and I had to start basicly from scratch, but I also came up with much better ideas for the game. So, I suggest you do the same.
